The OCSAA is excited to announce the name change to the Heartland Christian Athletic Association (HCAA). The new name reflects a recognition as a regional athletic association. The association has seen a recent resurgence in growth from a one-state association with 20 schools to now a regional association with over 40 Christian member schools from three states (Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas).
Schools will compete for championships in over 9 different sports, in both girls and boys divisions. "It’s an exciting time to be part of this new chapter of the association. The OCSAA had a great tradition dating back to 1984, and we believe the Heartland will build on this rich heritage. The HCAA is positioned now for continued growth, which will produce even more opportunities for competition in both our large and small school divisions, " said Chris Hamel, Executive Director, Heartland Christian Athletic Association.
